"The playgrounds of heaven are too crowded with children we should have saved, and we are lucky that we count the Jackson boys among the saved and not the lost."

In 2003, Keith Jackson one of four New Jersey brothers found emaciated and allegedly beaten by adoptive parents Vanessa and Raymond Jackson, was 14 and weighed just 40 pounds.
Today, he barely resembles the waif from those infamous photos and wants to forget everything about his dark past, right down to his own name. He has changed his name to Tre'Shawn Mitchell.
Authorities discovered Tre'Shawn and his three brothers when a neighbor spotted the eldest brother, Bruce, searching through a trash can for food. At 19, Bruce weighed just 45 pounds. Brother Tyrone was 10 years old and 28 pounds; Michael, 9, and 23 pounds.
The brothers had come to the Jackson home as foster children, and Tre'Shawn said the abuse started after they were formally adopted. Their story alerted the nation, and New Jersey to the growing crisis of abused, lost and broken family court systems.

Priest and the sacrifice of children
Vatican Declined to Defrock U.S. Priest Who Abused Boys
Top Vatican officials — including the future Pope Benedict XVI — did not defrock a priest who molested as many as 200 deaf boys, even though several American bishops repeatedly warned them that failure to act on the matter could embarrass the church, according to church files newly unearthed as part of a lawsuit.
The internal correspondence from bishops in Wisconsin directly to Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, the future pope, shows that while church officials tussled over whether the priest should be dismissed, their highest priority was protecting the church from scandal, as most churches do.

Well, of course - public opinion! Those children didn't matter - it was all for the glory of God!  But if God is  all knowing and seeing, he must have seen it all - what a lovely sight.  And he did nothing to stop it, even though he's all powerful.  The Church hierarchy apparently doesn't really believe in the all-knowing and all-powerful God that it pretends to represent, or they are aware of the belief system propaganda thats been pushed on generations at their young age.
The sex-abuse crisis that engulfed the Roman Catholic Church during the past 12 months has spread to nearly every American diocese and involves more than 1,200 priests, most of whose careers span a mix of church history and seminary training. These priests are known to have abused more than 4,000 minors over the past six decades, according to an extensive New York Times survey of documented cases of sexual abuse by priests through Dec. 31, 2002.
